The Vineyards

These vineyards sites encompass, what I believe, to be among the most distinctive terroirs of the Sonoma Coast. I focus on the west or “true” Sonoma Coast and the western portion of the Russian River AVA. These growing regions provide a depth in fruit, lush tannins, and minerality found nowhere else in the world.

Their is an industry saying that “It takes great beer to make great wine” a node to the winemakers penchant for a cold beer after a long harvest day. It is no less true that it takes great farmers to grow great grapes. Not only great at their skill, but great people who care about their land, community and preserving our way of life. These are the people I choose to work with.

In some instance my agreements allow me to mention the vineyards that I source from by name in some cases I cannot as they don’t publicly sell fruit from their estates.
